Pisces Filleting Line introducing an Automatic Heading and Filleting machine for small and medium sized fish. It combines Pisces Fish Machinery, Inc. highly successful HV series Heading machine Pisces heading AHV 20 V with the FR-200 filleting machine. The system allows for one operator to process whole fish into fillets. A transfer section has been added which provides for seamless flow from the Header to the Filleter.
Pisces heading AHV 20 V is designed for fish species where structure is such that a double cut is required to achieve maximum meat recovery. These are: Salmon, Trout, Barramundi, Tilapia, Catfish, Bass, Orange Roughy, Pangasius, Perch, and similar species with considerable meat above the gill plate.
Pisces FR-200 is a high-speed, standalone fish filleting machine designed for fish weighing 0.34–1.8 kg (12 oz–4 lbs). It fillets, guts, removes backbones and ribs in a single pass at up to 40 fish per minute with one operator.
The ergonomic design of the initial feeding area allows the operator to simply slide each fish into the feeding trays of the heading units. There, each fish is individually located behind the collarbone, so that irrespective of size, the head cut is in the ideal position for optimal yield. The fish is then automatically transferred, correctly oriented, into the filleting machine where smooth high-yield fillets are produced.
